The worst part of switching CRMs is moving your data. We handle importing your contacts, policies, company records, and family relationships into Max Methodology — organized, mapped, and ready to work with.

Maximum import size: 1,500 combined contact and company records per engagement. Agencies with larger datasets are welcome to reach out for a custom quote.

Scope and terms

Data format required
Data must be provided as a clean, column-mapped CSV, Excel (.xlsx), or Google Sheets file. One file per object type (contacts, policies, companies, etc.).
Record count basis
Volume tier is determined by your total count of contact and company records combined. Policy, group policy, and relationship records are attached objects — they do not add to your record count.
Quality assurance
Upon completion, we confirm a successful import and perform a visual spot-check across records. We do not perform field-level reconciliation or cross-reference source data after the import is complete.
Post-delivery corrections
Once the import is delivered and confirmed, the client is responsible for any manual adjustments or corrections. No ongoing reconciliation is included.
Data cleanup
Files requiring reformatting, header mapping, deduplication, or structural cleanup prior to import are subject to an additional hourly fee. We will notify you before proceeding if this applies.
Turnaround
Most imports are completed within 3–5 business days of receiving your complete, formatted data files.

Frequently asked questions

What if I have more than 1,500 records?

Imports above 1,500 combined contact and company records are handled as custom engagements and priced accordingly. Reach out and we will scope it out for you.

Do I need all my data ready before purchasing?

Yes. Work does not begin until all required data files have been received in the correct format. If you are unsure how to export your data from your current system, we can point you in the right direction.

What counts as a record for volume pricing?

Volume is based on your combined total of individual contact records and company records. Policies, group policies, and family relationships tied to those records are included — they do not add to your count.

Can I add policy or group data later as an upgrade?

Yes, but it will be treated as a new import engagement at the applicable tier price. It is generally more efficient to include all data objects in a single import.

What if my data has duplicates or inconsistencies?

Basic deduplication and cleanup is billable as a separate service. If we identify issues with your file before starting, we will let you know and give you the option to clean it up yourself or have us handle it at an hourly rate.

Is this a one-time service or can I use it again?

It is a one-time service per engagement. Agencies that acquire books of business or onboard sub-agencies can use it again at any time at the standard rates.
