Document Updates: Medicare Medicaid Eligibility Attestation + One-Step Attestation Process

We just released two document updates inside Max Methodology that simplify compliance workflows for health insurance agents. Here's a breakdown of what changed and how to use each update.

Update 1: Medicare Medicaid Eligibility Attestation

A new eligibility attestation has been added to the eSign document form.

How to use it:

  1. Open the eSign document form

  2. Select theMedicare Medicaid Eligibility Attestationoption

  3. Populate theFFM IDfield

    • If you entered it during your most recent policy intake, it will auto-fill

    • If not, copy and paste it from your records

  4. ClickSend— this will generate the document, email, and text message automatically

What the client sees:

A boilerplate eligibility statement confirming they are not enrolled in Medicare and not currently eligible for Medicaid. They will Sign, Date, and Finish. The completed document will appear in the document portal and can be downloaded and uploaded directly to Health Sherpa.

Update 2: One-Step Attestation Process

The attestation workflow has been upgraded from a two-step process to a single step — meaning both the application summary link and the attestation link now go out in one email and one text.

How it works:

  1. Go toAttestation and Confirmation

  2. Upload the required file

  3. ClickSend Document for Signature

What changed in the email and text templates:

  • First link— Application summary (triggers the timestamp when the client opens it)

  • Second link— The attestation document for signature

Both links are now included in a single email and text message. Previously, clients received two separate messages. That second touchpoint was a friction point — this update eliminates it.

Additional initials required (per CMS requirements):

  • Income review initial

  • Special enrollment period attestation initial

These have been added to the PDF to maintain compliance. Once the client completes the form, the initialed copy will be tied directly to the attestation itself.

Why This Matters

Agents were waiting on a second email or text just to get attestations signed. That delay is gone. Both documents go out together, the client handles everything in one session, and you stay compliant with CMS requirements throughout.

Cautionary Reminders

  • Double-check the FFM ID before sending — an incorrect entry will cause delays

  • Ensure all required initials are collected before the client finishes
